Spoofing 50s and 60s Hollywood sci-fi, Tim Burton doesn’t disappoint. America, of course, at the front of an alien invasion, with Jack Nicholson as president. Initially rewatching for its nostalgic value, I rediscovered this classic with its comic book twists and turns sitting nicely inside its chaotic alien infested environment.
